The Lewis Apartments

The Lewis Apartments is a newly constructed senior (age 62+) community in Suitland, Maryland. This project is financed through a combination of 4% Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTCs) with R4 Capital as the investor, tax exempt bonds issued by the State of Maryland Community Development Administration (MD CDA), a Fulton Bank construction loan, a Freddie Mac Tax Exempt Loan in the permanent phase serviced by Berkadia, MD CDA Rental Housing Works loans and a Prince George’s County HOME loan. Total project development cost for The Lewis Apartments was $34.4 million.
